Day 7

Oct.12 Sunday

Hi All !
Today is Sunday, the day Prilly has been waiting for. We go horseback riding for a half
day through Butch Cassidy's old trails.
We got up early and went to breakfast, and that's when I looked up at the clock and
saw that we were an hour behind. What we found out was that Utah was on mountain time
which is an hour differant from Arizona time.
Prilly ran over to the office to tell them that we were not going to be able to make it.
Sue and I though we had luck out and wern't going to have to feel the pain of a 3 hour ride.
Then Prilly comes in all smiles and says that because we were the only ones going that we could
eat our breakfast and then go. Ya !

Really a great day for a ride. Early morning was about 40 degrees but warm up to 70 by noon.

This is a western blue jay.

This trail was not for sissies. Eight miles up and back along very high and narrow paths.

Prilly was riding Breaker Boy, Sue was on Papoose, and I was riding JW.

The scenery was like out of an old western movie.

Looking off after climbing to the top.

Our guide Brandon. The girls were smitten by this 28 year old cowboy. Especially when he told them that he was a bull rider and a team roper and if that's not enought a fireman.

Are we there yet?

Happy trails again.

We stop for a break and I though how am I going to get back on that thing.
Mabe they could pick us up with a crane an set us back on.

Prilly saying good by to them. Sue and I are allready in the truck resting our behinds.

Well were leaving Bryce and heading across the state to Arches National Park.

See you soon.
Ralph, Prilly, and Sue
